Surly Coffee Bender is an American Brown Ale. This beer starts with great coffee flavor along with some toffee, chocolate and some nuttiness. A surprising blast of hops add some much needed balance. Although the coffee steals the show, this is a pretty complex brown ale with a lot of bold flavors.
