Desnoes & Geddes Dragon Stout

Desnoes & Geddes Dragon Stout is a Jamaican Foreign/Export Stout. Let’s be honest here, stout and Jamaica aren’t words that I use together much. Desnoes & Geddes is, of course,  famous for brewing the Red Stripe brand so I’m not quite sure what to expect. Let’s see what this is all about… Sweet and creamy with notes of coconut, chocolate and mildly roasted malts. There is a slightly sour thing going on, but perfectly expected from a English style stout. Maybe a little thin for a stout, but this is pretty good. If you like Milk/Sweet Stouts I would give this one a try. Once again it goes to show you you can’t judge a beer by it’s label, Hooray Beer!
