Southern Tier Mokah

Southern Tier Mokah is an American Double/Imperial Stout. It is brewed with Jamaican roasted coffee and bittersweet Belgian chocolate. Well the chocolate is dominating this one from the start. The coffee has maybe faded just a bit, but makes itself most know towards the finish. I’m getting a surprising blast of spicy hops on the finish as well. There is a touch of alcohol heat but I was surprised to see this was 11.2% ABV, it doesn’t drink that big at all. Sweet, dark and tasty: a style of beer Southern Tier does very well.
