Dogfish Head Urkontinent

Dogfish Head Urkontinent falls closest into the Belgian Dubbel catagory, but in the end it’s just another creative experiment from DFH (it would take to long to explain, so go to their website to read up on the back story). This is brewed with wattle seed, toasted amaranth, rooibos tea, myrica gale and honey. Yeah, I’ve heard of honey too. This beer is on the sweet side with flavors of root beer, chocolate, hints of coffee, hazelnuts and a general rich maltiness you would find in a Dubbel. Just a hint of alcohol is in there as well. If you are a fan of DFH and their creative beers I would certainly give this a go.
