Cigar City Brewing Ghost Stories

Cigar City Brewing Ghost Stories is a Braggot that is a collaboration with the B. Nektar Meadery . I have very little experience with the braggot, I think this might be my second. Not sure if this is even a good example of the style either since it is brewed with coconut, cacao nibs, tea, oak chips and of course honey. Let’s just go forward and see what happens. I am getting lots of honey sweetness and smokey roasted malts. That was kind of all I was tasting for a while and I kept thinking, “how am I gonna finish this bottle”? Then after a while some of the other flavors come out, mild coconut along with some dry bakers chocolate and tea. I’m confused as to how the tea isn’t lost in this big and massively complex beer, but it is somehow there. I am not really sure how to rate this, I like it but I don’t exactly know why.
