Rising Tide Daymark

Rising Tide Daymark is an American Pale Ale brewed with locally grown rye from Maine. It takes a lot for a Pale Ale to really impress me these days, but this one has managed to do just that. There is a pleasant bready but sweet malt base that is just about perfectly balanced with hops. The addition of the rye creates a very nice spicy/dry finish to this beer. In the background there is a tropical fruit note that makes this just that much better for me. I had this nice and fresh (just under a month old), thanks again to Nathan for the hook up.
