Sebago Bonfire Rye
Sebago Bonfire Rye appears to come from some sort of brewpub chain up in Maine. I’m digging this fall seasonal alternative, thanks Nathan. The spicy rye is complimented with a good amount of hops. Just a hint of tropical fruit sweetness drives this up a little for me. The malt is also sweet enough to create a good bit of balance and prevent the spicy rye from taking over. On the downside the beer is a dingy looking reddish color, but that is something I can fairly easily ignore. Good stuff.
