Boulevard Bully! Porter is an English Porter. This seems to be pretty intense for an English style beer with lots of big roasted malts and bitter chocolate that dominate the flavor to start. The finish brings in a big bitter coffee taste. Some nice sugary sweetness comes out as this warms up, creating a bit more complexity and flavor. Solid all around. Don’t hesitate to grab a six pack, it’s well worth picking up as an anytime dark beer.
