Burnt Hickory The Fighting Bishop is a Belgian style Tripel spiced with green peppercorns. I’m not the biggest fan of this style, but when I’m impressed it is because it is something special (at least to me). Sweet and fruity with bits of pears and bananas. The spice rack is heavily used with some coriander, clove and of course the green peppercorns. I really love how those peppercorns work with this tripel. They aren’t overly used but you still get the hint of fresh cracked pepper mixing with the spiciness. Very good.
