
Stone Matt’s Burning Rosids
Stone Matt’s Burning Rosids is a Sasion/Farmhouse Ale. In 2013 Stone employee Matt Courtright was tragically killed in an accident at the brewery. As the Stone family grieved they decided to honor Matt’s memory by brewing and releasing one of his beer recipes. This Belgian style Sasion is infused with smoked cherrywood. This really smells fantastic, perfect saison sweetness with just a hint of smokiness. The taste also starts sweet, with hints of cherry and then a lot of smoke mixing with the slightly funky yeast on the finish. Solid beer all around.
