Against The Grain Citra Ass Down!

Against The Grain Citra Ass Down is an American Double/Imperial IPA. This bad boy has everything I am looking for in an IPA. I was really excited to find a bottle when traveling this summer.

So what exactly is it I’m looking for? First would be big citrus hops, and I get a ton of that in this beer thanks to all the Citra hops. I love those little nuggets… just can’t get enough! Second is a rich and sweet malt backbone. Nothing too overpowering, it compliments the hops without becoming anywhere near a “malt bomb”. The last element would be mild pine and bitterness. This was a bit stronger than I anticipated, but welcomed none the less.

This is a great beer that any hop head should be seeking out immediately. Seriously, this beer is great, go drink it ASAP!
