Moon River The Bomb

Moon River The Bomb is an Irish Dry Stout. Not my favorite style at all, but after the local guys won a gold medal at the 2014 World Beer Cup I knew I would have to give this one a try!

This is really an exceptional beer. Nicely roasty and dry with a good bit of creamy sweetness to keep things balanced. A touch of lacto like sourness was in there as well. The mouth-feel was a tad watery for me, but that just tells me this is screaming for a nitro tap. Well done, and congrats on the well deserved gold!
