Midnight Sun Arctic Devil

Midnight Sun Arctic Devil is an English Barleywine. It is brewed once a year then aged in bourbon oak barrels for several months before the entire batch is blended, bottled and released.

The smell is rich and inviting; bourbon, dark fruits, caramel. Yet another one of those beers I find my self smelling as much as drinking. The taste is nearly perfect, joining my short list of truly phenomenal barleywines. Tasting rich toffee, raisins, a slight nuttiness and vanilla, and some perfectly blended bourbon and booze.

What I wouldn’t give to have this available regularly here in Georgia, so glad I got to try it at least once!
