Orpheus Wandering Blues
This beer clocks in at a fairly strong 7% ABV, and the pour on is very cloudy and very pink. Well, I wasn’t expecting this, this really doesn’t drink much like a sour OR a fruit beer. I guess it is all relative, but his is very tame and only slightly tart to me. It’s an enjoyable tartness but far from sour. The taste has a lot of earthy blueberry skin, with only the slightest bit of sweetness from the fruits flesh. Getting a tiny bit of grapefruit as well.
This is a nice little beer, I enjoyed it just fine, but it feels like it could have been so much better with both more fruit and sourness.
