Three Floyds Broo Doo
Three Floyds Broo Doo is their Fall seasonal wet hop ale. The label does not let you know what hops are used, which leads me to believe it may rotate from year to year. Big thanks to Josiah for sharing this, it is a long time want for me.
The smell is that of a mild pale ale, nothing too special but nothing offensive either. The taste starts with a huge amount of dank resinous pine, it comes close to crossing into green onion land but it never goes that far. This is followed by some sweet but bitter orange rind, and moments of almost tea like flavors. Very pleasant mildly bitter finish rounds out this outstanding IPA.
A definite must grab when you see it, and is probably worth a trade when fresh if you are a big IPA fan!
