Anderson Valley Hop Ottin’ IPA
Anderson Valley Hop Ottin’ IPA is an American IPA, 7% ABV, no bottle date.
This pours with a nice dark caramel color, fluffy bone white head. Decent aroma on this IPA, a bit earthy with a lot of grainy malt. The taste starts with a sweet caramel base, notes of grain, and a touch of bread crusts. This IPA is really all about it’s wonderful hop flavors; a little oily pine resin, some mild citrus, and dry woody finish that would make you think this might have spent time in an oak barrel. Even though the bitterness is on the high side, this is still comes off as an easy drinking IPA.
Somehow this tasty IPA has really gotten lost on the shelf for me for some reason, I’ve got to put it back into the everyday IPA rotation!
