Victory Moving Parts Batch No. 03
Victory Moving Parts Batch No. 03 is a Belgian IPA, 6.6% ABV, best by date is 6/9/15. Well this seemed to be the next logical step in The Ever-Evolving IPA Series. Batch 01 was an American style IPA, Batch 02 an English style IPA, so now we move to the Belgian style of IPA for Batch 03!
This pours with a lightly golden color, nice white head and excellent clarity. The aroma is fantastic, slightly piney with a little sweet fruitiness on the nose. This is an amazingly light and drinkable IPA! A touch of malt sweetness upfront is followed by some mild fruitiness which I will assume is being generated by the Belgian yeast. A touch of floral hops and a mild bitterness is making this so easy to drink.
Seriously, this is a steal at about $4.99 for a 22oz. bomber! I am really enjoying this quite a bit, my favorite in the series so far.
