DC Brau Penn Quarter Porter

DC Brau Penn Quarter Porter is an American Porter.

This beer is nice and dark just like a Porter should be. Roasty and sweet on the nose with a good bit of chocolate. The taste follows suit very well. This has a very tasty roasted malt profile, good dose of sweet chocolate, sweet cream, and hint of bittering hops on the finish as well. The taste has a lactose like element as well. I’d say this is a touch thin on the mouth-feel. This is a classic example of a Robust Porter.

It might not be rare or aged in a bourbon barrels, but this is well worth the effort to try if you enjoy an easy to drink dark beer. Thanks Lee!
