Revelry Brewing Funkmaster Brett IPA

Revelry Brewing Funkmaster Brett IPA is a Wild IPA. Big thanks to Kevin for sharing this, and a few other growlers, he brought back from them in Charleston, SC.

The appearance is fairly typical for an IPA, but the similarities end right there. The aroma on this is very interesting. I’m smelling marshmallows and some tropical citrus. Actually this smells a lot like circus peanuts candy. The taste is an outstanding blend of sweet tropical fruity goodness with just a mild nod to the Brett. Without time to develop the Brett is bringing more of a earthy barnyard element to the hop forward style. The malt behind all this excitement is sweet and hard candy like.

I really like this one. Man! I wish I didn’t have to drive all the way to Charleston for more!
