Alpine Duet is an American IPA that features Amarillo and Simcoe hops, 7% ABV.
This pours with a bright golden orange color and a perfect off white head. I’m getting a lot of floral and herbal hops on top of some sweet biscuit malt in the aroma. The taste is classic “West Coast” with notes of grapefruit, mild onion, some orange and mango, big pine, but mostly some intense bitterness.
This is not exactly my personal favorite IPA taste profile, but I can certainly taste the quality of the product.
