Angry Chair Big Debbrah

Angry Chair Big Debbrah is an American Strong Ale, 8% ABV. Essentially an Imperial Cream Ale that is designed to taste like a Little Debbie oatmeal creme pie. Brewed in collaboration with Mikkeler and Cigar City Brewing, this was apparently this was also the breweries first bottled beer.

A fantastic looking beer, it poured from the taps with a reddish golden color and a frothy off white head. The aroma is amazingly spot on, this thing smells just like an oatmeal cream pie, lots of vanilla and oatmeal on the nose. The same on the taste, really it is quite amazing how much oatmeal flavor they got into this beer. Sweet vanilla cream comes through as well.

I can’t call this a complex beer, but who cares, it tastes great and they simply nailed what they were trying to do! Another great example of why this little brewery is becoming my new must visit spot in Tampa.
