River Dog Brewing Co. Riverwalk Empire Pilsner is a German style Pilsner, 5.6% ABV.

Pours with a golden color with a lot of orange highlights, a bit of chill haze and a nice frothy white head from an aggressive pour. The aroma is sweet with strong notes of grass, grain and citrus. Tasting a good bit of sweet grain that is balanced by a solid bite of earthy hops. A nice dry aftertaste with a little remaining sweetness.

This is a really solid pilsner. Getting a touch out of the sessionable zone at 5.6% ABV, but this is a perfect beer for camping, hiking, yard work or any time you are looking for a tasty Pils.
