Founders Mosaic Promise

Founders Mosaic Promise is an American IPA, 5.5% ABV. Bottled on 02/29/16, opened on 04/05/16. This IPA features Mosaic hops and Golden Promise malt.

The beer pours with relatively clear light golden color, and a big white head that retains very well. Oh yeah, we are getting into some Mosaic hops here. The aroma is a touch sweet from the malt, but mostly distinct hops. A lot of pine mixed with a bit of cedar on the nose is mixing with a hint of citrus and earth. Classic Mosaic taste is all over this beer as well; good bits of pine, grapefruit, tropical fruit, big pineapple as it warms, and a dry earthiness I usual get from the hop on the finish.

I already knew I was a fan of this particular hop, but if you are looking to smell/taste what this hop is all about, this is a fantastic showcase. If you already a fan I’m not sure why you haven’t tried it yet!
