Golden Road Wolf Pup

Golden Road Wolf Pup is an American IPA, 4.5% ABV, canned on 05/27/16, opened on 06/29/16. Can provided for review.

This session IPA pours with a lightly hazy golden lemon yellow color with a big fluffy white head. Session IPA’s tend to have a fairly similar earthy/pine aroma, but this one is a refreshingly different with some tropical fruitiness. I’m smelling strong notes of pineapple, mango, and citrus. The taste starts with a hint of sweet fruit followed by cracker malt, loads of grapefruit, and finishes with some pine resin. A dry and mildly bitter finish makes this one easy to drink with a solid flavor to come back for in short order.

This really might be one of the most flavorful Session IPAs I’ve come across, highly recommended.
