Westbrook Key Lime Pie Gose
Westbrook Key Lime Pie Gose comes in at 4% ABV, canned on 8/23/16, opened on 09/05/16.
The beer pours with yellow color with some minor golden highlights. A quick fizzy white head is gone in a hurry. I can’t say that the aroma is much different than regular Westbook Gose, it is sour and salty with a hefty touch of extra lime on the nose. Holy smokes, this beer really has a huge amount of key lime flavor. The classic salt and sour that is expected is there, but then there is also a ton of tart key lime. I guess I’m getting just the slightest hint of whipped cream and graham cracker crust, but it is exceptionally subtle.
Even if this doesn’t taste exactly like key lime pie it is just as good as their original Gose. Big tartness, super salty, and in this case it has a nice addition of key lime as well.
