Green Bench India Pale Ale

Green Bench India Pale Ale clocks in at 6.8% ABV, no package or best by date. This brewery ins’t too far from where my parents live in Florida and I try to pick up a beer or two when I visit. You can imagine my happiness when I saw a few cans and bottles at my local store!

The beer is a clear and rich golden color with a dense off white head. I am really digging the aroma on this one. Nice caramel malt sweetness, some pineapple and mango, and a good bit of pine as well. I was expecting some sweeter hop notes but this is a fairly dank IPA. The malt base is a bit on the sweet side, but a barrage of hops follow right behind. Pine, earth, grapefruit pith, and just a mild touch of subtle tropical fruits make up the hop profile. Good carbonation and mouth-feel.

Solid IPA all around, sixer worthy.
