Foothills Hopjob Session IPA is brewed with Azacca and Sorachi Ace hops, and clocks in at 4.9% ABV. No bottle date.
This pours with a really nice gold color and off white head, a bit hazy but it isn’t too much at all. The aroma brings in some nice pine and earth, sweet lemon, and some cracker malt. The taste starts with a toasted bread flavor instead of the cracker that is on the nose. The hops immediately follow the malt with notes of lemon, earthy pine, and some bitter herbal flavor as well. A good bit of orange and grapefruit linger on into the aftertaste. Nice bright carbonation is also worth a mention.
It’s hard for me to get all jazzed about Session IPA’s, but all in all this one is super solid; I’m really digging the flavor profile of this beer.
