Great Atlanta Beer Fest on September 8, 2012
Beer fans from across the southeast will converge on Turner Field in Atlanta on September 8th for the 2012 Great Atlanta Beer Fest. This is the second year for the festival.
The afternoon tasting event will be held from 3:00 – 8:00 PM, rain or shine. The first 500 tickets will be $30, with advance prices then going up to $40 or $48 if purchased at the gate. Official event parking will set you back another $10, so car pool or take MARTA (it is smarta, after all). Last year’s early bird tickets sold out in a few hours. The event’s capacity is near 10,000.
In addition to beer, the festival will also have live music, college football on a big screen and the Scout’s Alley game row will be open and free. Watching over-served patrons play the pitching game alone should make up for the ticket price.
