Firestone Walker Wookey Jack is an American Black Ale/IPA, and is maybe the best one I’ve had. Creamy and sweet with a lot of citrus and tropical fruitiness. The darker elements eventually take over with some strong roast mixing with some spicy rye and piney hops. Unlike many Black IPA’s this all comes together as one beer, rather than like two beers battling it out to see which one wins. Fantastic.
