Jester King Mad Meg is a Saison/Farmhouse Ale. Spicy and funky with a good bit of chewy malts and wheat, there is also a strong showing of Saaz hops is adding a little extra spiciness on the finish as well. The carbonation is pretty high with a little bit of alcohol heat (9.6%) that is obvious as well. A very good Saison but it fall a bit short of being great, I’d say it’s totally worth picking up if you are in the Austin area.
