Holiday Shopping Guide: T-Shirts for Beer Geeks & Runners
Last year, Christmas Eve day found me standing in our local beer store, staring at an intimidating wall of bottles and feeling the panic rise in my chest. What I thought would be an easy last minute gift for my beer-loving husband turned out to be the most stressful shopping experience of the holiday season.
This year, I think I’ll let him pick out his own beer and will stuff his stocking with these fun beer and running related t-shirts instead.
Brewershirts.com, a BDR favorite, has some of the best beer related tees we’ve seen. Andrew has been known to sport their Pursuit of Hoppiness tee, but my guess is Raymond and Lee would be partial to their Beer Drinking Dinosaur design. I mean, what’s cooler than a T-rex double fisting a pair of longnecks? These funny designs and many more are printed on substantial Glidan t-shirts and well worth the $20 price tag. While you’re at it, help Santa out by grabbing a few stickers – they make perfect stocking stuffers.
Cerveza Fria serves up super cool tees over on Etsy. Our favorite is The Proper Glass, though Hop Love comes in a close second. These bold and simple designs are printed on vintage style tees for that well loved look from day one and retail at a very affordable $15 each.
Not to neglect the runners out there, we also found some great running tees over at Runners Booty. Their Runs for Beer shirt seems custom made for the BDR guys, and is printed on super soft American Apparel tees. This one is destined to become a wardrobe staple. Runners Booty has tons of great designs for girls as well – my personal favorite is the irreverent Mile After F%#*@ing Mile design. Runners Booty tees are priced $22-$25, with some designs available in tech shirts for $28.
Discount Alert! Runners Booty is offering 15% off your order for BDR readers. Just use the code: BEERRUN
Skreened.com has hundreds of beer related shirts but a search for “craft beer” narrows the field quite a bit. This search turns up several clever shirts including a Beer Nerd shirt in both a light and stout versions. Skreened also has homebrew section worth having a look at. Our favorite is the “Powered by Craft Beer” shirt featuring a runner as part of the logo.
And of course, don’t forget to show some BDR love with one of our very own designs on tees, tech shirts and more. All the cool kids are wearing them!
