Bell’s This One Goes To 11 Ale

Bell’s This One Goes To 11 Ale is a hopped up American Amber/Red Ale. Brewed to celebrate Batch 11,000, this Imperial Red Ale has big ol’ chewy & sweet caramel malts and is complimented by some nice tropical sweetness. Delicious mango, pineapple, orange and grapefruit are balance with a lot of resinous pine. The 11% ABV is far from hidden with a lot of alcohol taste showing up throughout each sip, a bit of a drawback for me. This is a very good Imperial Red, maybe this is the un-refined cousin of Hopslam. I am happy to have snagged a couple of bottles of this limited release before they are gone.
