Boulevard Long Strange Tripel

Boulevard Long Strange Tripel is a year round member of the Smokestack Series. This poured a light golden color with a beautiful fluffy white head. The flavor starts with bits of fruit, some pear, green apple and some mild citrus. The alcohol and yeast take over from there; boozy, funky and creamy. I don’t know if creamy is quite right word I’m looking for, but what I’m tasting reminds me of white chocolate. There is a pleasant bit of pepper on the finish. Not the best style for me to judge, but I feel like this is a pretty fine tripel.
