Duvel Moortgat Duvel

Duvel is a Belgian Strong Pale Ale. So the first time I had this it was just a small taste and I thought, “eh what’s the big deal”. After trying my first full glass I now get it. It is crisp and clean with a nice combo of malt, yeast and hops. The finish has a pleasant grassy hoppiness balancing the almost creamy pale malt. Truly excellent, hands down the benchmark for the style. This will never be my go to style, but you will certainly find this in my glass throughout the year.
