New Holland The Poet

New Holland The Poet is an Oatmeal Stout that is available year round. Sweet rich malts, with a touch of roasted coffee, hops and bittersweet chocolate. This is one fine oatmeal stout, no way this can be only 5.2% ABV! We have all lost our minds a bit wanting the newest and rarest beers (I am as guilty as any of us), and this is the kind of beer that easily gets overlooked when scanning the shelves at the beer store. As far as I’m concerned this is one of the best everyday stouts out there to stock in the fridge. It also happens to have some of my favorite label art, I love the dark Poe-esque bird and font.
