DuClaw Brewing Sweet Baby Jesus!

DuClaw Brewing Sweet Baby Jesus! is an American Porter brewed with chocolate and peanut butter. Two Chocolate Peanut Butter Porters released at about the same time (Terrapin Liquid Bliss being the other), interesting. Big thanks to Ken H for the bottle. It is almost amazing how much peanut butter is on the nose. Good chocolate and peanut butter flavors that really open up as the beer warms, your patience is really rewarded by waiting on this one. There is a good bit of roasted malts and hops in the background of this beer. I have to say there is something about the finish that I don’t care for too much, can’t quite place what it is though. Overall this is a very nice dessert beer with some impressive peanut butter flavor.
