Mother Earth Windowpane Series: Peaches

Mother Earth Windowpane Series: Peaches is an American Wheatwine? What we have here is a mystery style kind of beer. It’s a little too big to be a regular wheat ale so I’m going with wheatwine, besides I think that sounds better than “double wheat ale” which is on the label. This was brewed in 2012. The beer is fermented with North Carolina peaches and is then aged in Chardonnay barrels. I am tasting a bit of caramel, oak, vanilla and un-ripe peaches. The after taste is a bit weird, but overall I am enjoying this quite a bit. I’m kind of surprised that this is rating as low as it is on beeradvocate. (80 out of 100 when writing this)
