Southbound Hoplin’

Southbound Hoplin’ is an American IPA. This is the second year round release from Southbound Brewing Company, Savannah’s first full scale brewery. (Unlike Moon River, a brewpub, and Coastal Empire who are currently contract brewing in Alabama) This was a solid beer with a good semi-sweet malt base with a fairly intense amount of bitterness on the finish. Worth trying if you enjoy an IPA. It is a beer I will certainly order when dinning out around town, or purchase at our local growler store. Be on the look out for this on draft boards if you are in the coastal Georgia area, I don’t believe they are bottling yet.
