Greenbush Brother Benjamin
Greenbush Brother Benjamin is anĀ American Imperial/Double IPA brewed with Columbus and Cascade hops, clover honey and beet sugar. This was easily the most impressive Greenbush beer I had while on vacation. So much so that I went back to pick up more to bring home for myself and to share with others! (The brewpub in Sawyer MI was about 6 miles from where we were staying) A big beer (10.1% ABV) that pours with a nice big fluffy head. Fantastic citrus and orange flavors are join by a nice muted pine. A bit malt forward, but that works really well with the sweet honey notes and a bit of alcohol heat. My bottles are gone now that I’m back home, kinda miss this beer already.
