Dark Horse Double Crooked Tree

Dark Horse Double Crooked Tree is an American Double/Imperial IPA. This DIPA has an outstanding mix of big malty sweetness and flavorful hop bite. The malt is rich and impressive with a lot of toffee, caramel and more subtle bready notes. Bits of citrus and some bitterness do just enough to balance. This is a potent beer coming in at 12% ABV, but there is a surprisingly small amount of alcohol taste coming through. This is an impressive DIPA and sould be on your “seek it out” list if you are a fan of the style.
