Hoppin’ Frog Natasha RØcks America

Hoppin’ Frog Natasha RØcks America is an American Stout. Collaboration Brew (with FanØ Bryghus) – European Tour Series 2 of 3. This is labeled as a Chocolate Rye Imperial Stout on the bottle, but at 7.5% ABV I question the Imperial part of that description. Directly below that in small letters it says “contains no chocolate”, so I will assume any chocolate flavor is coming form chocolate malt. The rye is obvious from the start, nice and dry & spicy. This is mixing with some mild roast and the essence of some mild cocoa powder. After the beer warms it starts tasting like a really good Black Ale (but without the IPA bitterness). This was a fun Vacation find, glad I didn’t pass on the bottle.
