Weyerbacher Viridis Lupulus

Weyerbacher Viridis Lupulus is an American IPA. I picked this up recently at Growlers in Hilton Head SC, no bottle date. Brewed with massive amounts of Apollo, Calypso, Centennial, and Galaxy hops. This is an unfiltered IPA which in this case creates a rather murky and unpleasant appearance, but the taste more than makes up for it. A big citrus nose with a bit of pine in the background. The smell also translates into the taste: citrus and mild pine with a bit of an earthiness to the hops. There is a very nice sweetness comes out as this warms up as well creating a near perfect balance. I am really wishing I had picked up more than one of these that day!
