Oakshire Overcast Espresso Stout

Oakshire Overcast Espresso Stout is described as an Oatmeal Stout With Coffee on the bottle. I had zero expectations from this beer, just a random beer I added to get the “free” shipping on a recent Let’s Pour order. Pretty typical for the style and solid all around. A dark pour with a decent tan head, dark in color with a medium body. Espresso is the right word for the coffee flavor, it’s dry and bitter like a strong cup of espresso. A nice amount of roast and chocolate counter the bitter coffee creating a good bit of balance in this stout. Totally worth picking up if you enjoy this kind of stout, glad this ended up being the box filler this time around!
