Against The Grain 35K
Against The Grain 35K is a Milk/Sweet Stout. This was the lone bottle of beer I picked up while in Asheville this summer. Didn’t know much about it, but I was happy to pick up a new AtG beer to try.
This certainly has a gorgeous pour, pretty tan head on top of a dark body. The taste is fantastic too. I’m getting a lot of nice big roasted malts, some sweet cream and a light hop bitterness as well. Very mild on the lacto sourness which is nice.
This is an outstanding stout that I’m enjoying quite a bit, although I do feel like I overpaid for it.
