Anchorage Brewing Love Buzz

Anchorage Brewing Love Buzz is one complex Saison! Brewed with rose hips, peppercorns, orange peel and dry hopped with citra hops. This is all then triple fermented: First in French Oak Foudres with Saison yeast, second in French oak Pinot Noir barrels with Brett, and finally in the bottle with wine yeast.

This is seriously one of the funkiest smelling saisons I’ve had in a while. It is almost off putting a little bit, that Brett is working overtime on this. The taste is fantastic though, totally different. Very sweet and fruity with big flavors of papaya and passion fruit really coming through. The finish is only mildly Brett funky with the various oak barrels adding a dry woody finish.
