Bell’s Two Hearted Ale

Bell’s Two Hearted Ale is an American IPA. 7% ABV. I have absolutely no idea how I haven’t reviewed this yet!

The beer pours with a perfect orange/golden color, big white fluffy head as well. The aroma has a large amount of citrus, underlying caramel sweetness and a mild bit of grain. The taste starts with strong amounts of sweet caramel malts, which is followed by some strong citrus hoppines. A nice bit of light floral hops with a hint of pine on the finish. This is pretty much exactly how I like my IPA’s: well balanced, strong caramel malt base, strong citrus and/or tropical fruity hops, and easy to drink.

This was my first favorite IPA, and in all honesty in might still be my favorite IPA.
