Founders Pale Ale
Founders Pale Ale is brewed with Cascade hops. 5.4% ABV. It is easy to expect a brewery like Founders to constantly crank out huge rare beers, but they also produce a handful of solid year round session beers like this one as well.
This pours with a golden-orange like color with a nice off white head. I was expecting a big bigger aroma given the dry hopping of this beer, but this bottle is also almost 6 months old. Sweet malt to start in the taste, a bit like buttered bread. That sweet malt base blends nicely with some grapefruit and pine hops, moderately bitter and very drinkable.
Not sure how often I would grab this since it’s no longer a style I go to, but this is a really nice APA that goes down super easy.
