Oskar Blues Pinner Throwback IPA

Oskar Blues jumps on the Session IPA train with Pinner Throwback IPA, a  4.9% ABV gem.

This pours with a lovely light golden yellow color and a big fluffy white head. Good strong IPA aroma on this, slight onion, but the strong pine and tropical notes overpower it enough for me. Very typical IPA like taste as well, some medium pine and a touch of citrus are backed by a bit of bready/cracker malts. Just the right amount of sweet to bitter balance. This is very solid for an IPA just under 5%, and it really goes down almost too easy! (that first can was gone in no time)

I’m really enjoying this. There is a good chance that this and Founders All Day IPA will be battling it out whenever I need a tasty Session IPA!
