Red Hare Sticky Stout

Red Hare Sticky Stout is an Oatmeal Stout that is their winter seasonal.

This stout pours with a nice black color with brown highlights along the edges. The khaki head is a bit tame, maybe one finger tall, and does dissolve into nothing in a minute or so. The aroma isn’t huge but it’s what you might expect for the style, lightly roasted malts and some mild sweetness on the nose. The flavor is pleasant if not big and bold: mild roast, some sweet chocolate notes, a hint of bitterness on the finish. The mouth-feel is good, although maybe a touch thin for an Oatmeal Stout.

Overall this is a pretty solid offering from Red Hare for the winter months.
