Orpheus Transmigration Of Souls
Orpheus Transmigration Of Souls is an American Double/Imperial IPA, a huge Spring seasonal that comes in at a massive 10% ABV.
The beer pours a nice golden orange with some lemony yellow coming through the bottom of my Spiegelau IPA glass. I’m not in love with the aroma, but there is nothing wrong with it either. Very bright citrus on the nose, lots of orange and lemon. The taste brings together so many things I love in a DIPA though. Big sweet caramel malt, sweet mango, and a hint of classic pine is matched by some solid DIPA bitterness.
The points Transmigration Of Souls loses for me in aroma are made right back up with it’s great taste. Honestly this is one of the better Georgia brewed Imperial IPA’s out there.
